- This is the Site of Faringdon's third Fire station, Bromsgrove Place, Faringdon. Faringdon R.D.C. took up the lease in 1919 (from R.D.C. records) who managed the Fire Brigade before World War Two. This was the site for the first motorised appliance which arrived in 1930/1931 on a Morris Commercial chassis. The site became too small during the Second World War and the fire station moved to under Marlborough house. However it is believed to have been used for Storage until demolished in the late 1960's to connect Bromsgrove with Hart Avenue/Ferndale Street
